Who can invite

An invitation can be issued by someone legally residing in Slovenia (with a permit) or a citizen. It confirms the purpose and conditions of the visit and is filed with the administrative unit.

What the guest needs

The guest applies for a Schengen type C visa at the consulate with the invitation, travel insurance, proof of accommodation and funds. It usually allows a short stay of up to 90 days.
